HTC previously stated they are working on an upgrade from Android 1.5 to Android 2.0 for the HTC Hero devices while they are skipping Android 1.6. Verizon has announced they will be bringing Android 2.0 with Google Maps Navigation to the HTC Droid Eris in the first quarter of 2010.
